Hello and thanks for checking out this listing of a new Italian thread Shimano Ultegra 6500 BB-6500 Octalink bottom bracket. This bottom bracket was rescued from the back stock of a high-end bicycle shop and will come to you in the true New Old Stock, new-in-box condition seen in the included photographs.
This BB is compatible with Shimano Octalink, "triple" three-ring cranksets thanks to its 118.5mm long spindle. For use with Italian threaded frames only, 78mm shell width and 36x24t. Sealed cartridge bearings ensure superlative life. It's a shame that they "Don't make them like this anymore!"
Overall condition of the part itself is a true 10 out of 10, but please note that this item was indeed *rescued* and its box shows signs of "shop wear" from storage. I found a handful of examples and all boxes show varying levels of wear. The parts within are wonderfully pristine. A very cool part that is ready for installation to your compatible frame.
