crosman 2240 safepac ( 2400 psi

Screw this into your factory 2240 valve, then reinstall in the gun.. you now have a 2240 pcp.. pretty simple.. No special tools needed, just the tools to dissasemble a 2240..
this is simply sanded aluminum , so you can paint etc .. Ive sold dozens of these but stopped about a yr ago , theyre out there , still holding air and in daily use to this day.. theyre submersion tested and the seals are under compression , they cant go anywhere. Some advise, these will tune for whatever you can imagine , But the best way to get started is 1800 psi fills and a power adjuster.. Once youre dialed in at a lower presssure youre in a more knowledgable position to tune for 2200 or 2400 psi.
Caution , if you have the 2240 xl there will be a clearance issue with the front threaded adapter.. a different barrel will be needed or the adapter removed.
The one for sale doesnt have the stepdown in diameter at the end .. its all one diameter on the far end ..
