30-30 Winchester training ammo - this auction is for 2 snap cap cartridges
This auction is for a set of 2 - 30-30 Winchester training cartridges.  These are capped with soft point bullets.
These are dummy cartridges, that contain no powder, or primers, but they will chamber, look and feel just like the real thing.   They cannot fire, nor can they ever be made to fire.
These can be used as snap caps, but unlike plastic or one piece metal snap caps, these brass dummy cartridges look like the real thing.  These can also be used as a educational training aid to show cartridge identification as the cartridge chambering is indicated on the case head stamp. The brass and bullet brands used may vary from those in the pictures.
These were real commercial casings that have been chemically and mechanically cleaned, sized, then drilled out, and had the primer pocket plugged, and then a bullet seated and crimped.  You can visually tell they are inert, as the case has been drilled out, and the primer pocket is plugged with a orange poly.
