28 Gauge Shotgun training ammo - this auction is for a set of 2 - 2.75 inch 28 Gauge snap caps.
These snap cap shotgun cartridges, contain no powder, or primers, but they will chamber, look and feel just like the real thing.   They are weighed with lead shot, but cannot fire, nor can they be made to fire.
Unlike plastic or one piece metal snap caps, these dummy shot gun caps look and feel like the real thing.  These 28 Gauge snap caps can be used as a educational training aid to demonstrate correct loading and unloading, and they can be used as snap caps to cushion the firing pin.
These are new commercial Fiocchi hulls that have been sized, filled, and had the primer pocket plugged, and crimped. You can visually tell they are inert, as the top of the hull, and the primer pocket is plugged with a orange poly.
